Eastern Europe
We planned a vacation for Eastern Europe. The trip covered 8 countries -Germany, Austria, Slovenia, Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia, Poland, Czech Republic. Except Germany we hadn't visited any of these countries and we were excited.
It was a group tour, so we had very little preparations to make.
We left from Chennai to Mumbai. We had to take our international flight from Mumbai with a layover of 10 hours in Mumbai. We had booked a hotel in Mumbai close to international departure terminal called Adore Palace.
The staff were cordial but the hotel room, its location was pathetic. We had booked the room thinking we could get some sleep. But we hardly were able to sleep...The room had a smell that can be described as a smell from old furniture or unused spaces. The hotel has a drainage gutter at its entrance. So there is dirty smell near the hotel. The room had an ac vent that was not closed in the room. The toilet door was too tight and when opened with force, it felt like the bathroom roof would fall on your head. The bathroom also had some plumbing parts left unattended. The bedspread was torn. They said room included Breakfast but not sure what they would have given. I would not recommend this hotel for anyone. Some of the pictures are as below.
After checkout, we reached Mumbai International Airport. There we met our Tour Manager and few fellow tour members. We boarded our flight to Munich with a stopover at Muscat.
