Next stop was Tenungan waterfall.. You need to climb few steps down to reach the actual waterfall spot.On the way down, there are spots specifically made to take photos. Swimming is allowed too.
We were driven to Kintamani Mountain peak to see the volcano peak . As we climbed the mountain, it started getting cold and foggy.
We had lunch at Amora with a view of Kintamani… Here there were many vegetarian options in the Buffet. Buffet cost was 80K.
After Lunch on the way down, we stopped at a place to view the Batur Lake and mountain peak - Batur Mountain. Even trekking is allowed here and it is arranged as a 1 day trip too .
Next we visited the resort Alas Harum for visiting the Rice Fields.Though Rice fields are here everywhere in Ubud, this place has been made into a nice field with hanging bridges, many photospots, some statues and many activities. This place has an entry fees. The popular Swing is here and they also rent long flowing gowns for ladies for photo. Couple cycling, Zipline and different types(single, couple, sofa) of swings are available here.Tickets for each of these activities are sold separately inside. Zipline cost was 375K.Had a lovely experience of zipling over the rice terraces.
Also the process of making weasel coffee is explained here. The ticket cost also includes the 14 types of coffee and tea Complementary tasting. Weasel coffee and the different types of coffee and tea are sold here.
Next we reached Pura Saraswati, Ubud Water Palace, Ubud Art Market. Reach Ubud Water Palace well before 7 pm as they don’t allow visitors inside during their evening Shows. You can also plan to purchase tickets (sold everywhere near Palace on the road) and watch their show. They have interesting Dance Shows, Entertainment Shows based on Ramayana.
We were taken for Indian Dinner at Naati's multi Cuisine Indian restaurant at Ubud Raya Resort. Dinner was not that great. Samosa was soaked in oil, when served. Yoghurt was too sour, even lassi was too sour. When we said this to waitress, she offered to replace it. But we were not sure about it, so didn’t get it replaced.Food was average.
