I am a big fan of this programme and I like the way the recipes are taught and explained.
Corn Tikkis are tasty starter and also an evening time snack.
200 gms coarsely ground sweet corn
100 gms crumbled paneer/Cottage cheese
1 boiled and mashed potato
2 greenchilli: finely chopped
Handful Coriander: finely chopped
Handful mint: finely chopped
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp garam masala
1 cup besan/gram flour (Kadala maavu)
Salt as required
Oil: for shallow frying
Mix Sweet corn, paneer, potato.
Add greenchillies, coriander, mint and mix.
Add salt, gram flour, cumin powder, garam masala.
Add more gram flour if needed till the mixture is not too moist.
In a skillet add 1 tsp oil and heat.
Make roundels of the mixture and shallow fry on medium heat.
Flip and fry with another tsp oil.
Serve with tomato ketchup/ sweet chilli sauce
