Day 4: Bratislava
On Day 4 of our trip, we started towards Bratislava.
We reached Slovensko in Slovenia.
Capital of Slovenia is Bratislava. Bratislava is the only capital that shares its border with 2 countries: Hungary and Slovakia.
On reaching Bratislava, we first visited the Slovakia parliament from outside. We can see a bird's eye view of the city from here.
Then we visited the Castle. It's a small castle with a big and beautiful Garden. There is a big statue of Svatopluk here.
St Elizabeth of Hungary lived in the castle. After the death of her husband, she dedicated her life for the poor feeding Hungry people.
We climbed down the castle. Then we visited the St. Micheal's Cathedral. We walked down the old town towards Michael's gate. On the way we saw many funny statues and Haviezdolv Square, National theatre, Old City.
The area on the other side of the National Theatre was a calm peaceful park with statues, small streams extending to a few kilometers with restaurants on the other side.
We were driven to Swaad India Restaurant in Budapest, Hungary.
We then checked in at Radisson Hotel Budapest
