Day 7: Ljubljana, Hallstatt

We checked out from hotel. We left for Ljubljana City Tour.
First, we stopped at Dragon Bridge for clicking few photos.

Then we took the funicular tickets both ways and went up to the castle. The ticket costs vary depending on the size of the group, the different attractions that are included like a package.

City Design:

We rode the funicular, then took a free lift to reach the top. You can alternatively choose to climb up too.
There we visited the complex, clicked few pictures. Castle was built many years ago with Drainage Canal which is still preserved and displayed.
Then the top city view was beautiful.

We then climbed down and had a stroll around the city local market. Then we visited the local square where the Basilica was located.

At this same place there was a big park, the few eateries, many parallel bridges. The water was a non-human sanctuary, and hence human interference was banned. We had lunch at Mc Donalds here. We then walked to Independence Square where the revolution for Independence had taken place.
From there we walked to Opera House. From there we took the coach to reach Lake Faak.it was a beautiful, picturesque place. There are cruises available at certain times. There is a cathedral in the area. It is a nice place to have a walk, or just sit down on the grass and enjoy the scenery.

Then we checked in to Hotel Berghof at Mitterberg.
We checked in late at night, so we didn't really see the scenery around. Dinner was arranged at the hotel, it was Soup, pasta, coconut dessert.
