Day 8: Hallstatt, Salzburg

We were surprised to see outside the window when we woke up on Day 8 . The alps mountain, the fog, the green meadows, cows with merely no sign of air or sound pollution. The hotel also had a small play area with swings, trampoline, easy hanging zipline. We spent some time here, then we had checked out.

We started towards Hallstatt. We stopped near the lake, then walked towards the city Centre. The walk along the lake is very beautiful, with the Alps in the background, ducks swimming in groups. The houses along the way were too beautiful. In the Centre, there was a statue and also, we could see the waterfalls on the mountain.

There was a cathedral there, but scenery was more worth it.

We left the place just so that we can cover other places in the itinerary.
Later we left for Salzburg.

There we first visited the Fair- RupertiKirtag. There the place was very vibrant with games for the kids, everyone dressed in their traditional attire. Waitresses carrying more than 6 mugs of Beer and balancing them, Music Show, lots of food stalls and other entertainment activities.

We saw the Mirabell Palace, Hellbrunn Palace,St. Peter's Abbey, Cathedral. We also visited the place where Mozart was born, His house has been converted to a museum. We then also saw his statue.

We then travelled to Innsbruck. We checked into Hotel Olympia, Axamer Lizum. This is the Place where the Snow Olympics was held.

Dinner was arranged at another place nearby.
