 10 DAY EUROPE TRIP- Milan, Venice, Florence, Rome, Vatican

We  travelled to Europe from Chennai , India. We first reached Milan and from there we travelled to many European countries  via coach and finally returned from Paris..

 

Day 1:

 

 

We travelled via Etihad airways  to Milan, Italy. We were received by our tour guide   at the airport .We travelled via Autostrada from Malpensa airport at Milan. We had a break time at Auto grill. We had dinner at Maharani Restaurant at Mestre. We later checked into hotel Poppi for the night stay.

 

Day 2:

 

 

We checked out from Hotel after breakfast. We then left to Tronchetto in coach .From there we took ship ride to Venice.


We were allowed for some free time at Venice. We took the Gondola ride that took us through the streets of Venice showing the beauty of the city.


 We also were taken to a Glass Factory there , where  glass making was  showcased. We visited the

• St Marks Square,
• St Mark's Campanile is the bell tower of St Mark's Basilica
• Marco Polo's 1st House
• Mozart's House
• Last President's Statue.

 

After clicking many photos we  went back to Tronchetto via  ship.

 

We had lunch at Autogrill on the  way. We travelled via Bologna,Sasso Marconi ( a town in Bologna) ,tunnels to Florence.

Florence is generally referred to as Birth Place of Renaissance in Europe.

 

In Florence, we visited

• Giotto's Bell Tower
• Golden Gates of Baptistery
• Signoria Square
• Palazzo Vecchio tower
• Arno River

 

Then we reached First Hotel checked in and had dinner at the same  hotel.

 

Day 3:

We had breakfast  and left for Rome.

 

There we visited the famous Trevi Fountain. We did throw a coin hoping we return back again.

 


 

We had lunch near the fountain -Pizza and ice-cream

• We visited the Mussolini's Balcony where some important speeches were made ..
•  Then we reached Venice Square
• National Building-Victor Emmanuel II

 

We had a city tour in coach showing us Colloseum, Temple of Gods.

 

We had a hilltop view of Colloseum to click pictures.

 

Then we reached Vatican. We had the rest of the day exploring the divine St.Peters Basilica  and St Peters Square. It felt so blessed to be in the holy place and pray .

 


 

We reached hotel and had dinner there.
