Day 4: Sarajevo city tour
First we went to the Avaz Tower .This is the tallest skyscraper in Bosnia and also one
of the tallest twisted skyscraper in the world .We can have a view at the 35th
floor. The entrance to the top is 2 km/Person and is through an automatic
machine. We had a beautiful view of Sarajevo and the mountains. From here we
next left to yellow fortress atop the
hill from the OLD Town.
We again enjoyed a
bird’s eye view and from here we walked
through Bascarsija and visited the
National Theatre.It was closed, but we just clicked a picture outside it .We
also saw the very old Mosque in the old town. The National Museum was closed as
it was so we didn’t visit it.We visited the assassination place .This is a bridge where the Austro Hungarian Prince
and his wife Sophia were killed by a Bosnian Serbian soldier by a rifle.
We also visited the Emperor’s Mosque with the Hamam.
From here we went to Taj Mahal restaurant which is the only Indian restaurant in Bosnia.

We ordered Onion Pakoras for the rain, vegetable biryani,
Paneer kadai masala and roti. After lunch
we returned to the hotel. We skipped
dinner as lunch itself was very
late.
In the hotel, the guests
can use the spa facilities free of cost. So we tried few of the
facilities .
Bio Sauna, Infrared Sauna, Relaxing Room, Hammam, Russian
bath, Cold Room, Thermal pool and massage
were available.
