Day 3 : Sarajevo Olympic tour-Bjelasnica,Igman,Trebevic Mountains

After breakfast we left for the tour.

Bjelasnica,Igman,Trebevic  are  very popular winter resorts only 25 km from Sarajevo. The Bjelasnica and Igman  mountains were the host of the 14^th Winter Olympics games in 1984, featuring Nordic Skiing and sky jumping Competitions.

First we visited the Igman Mountain .This place is where the ice skating Olympic completion were held. We can see the skating rink , the winner stand, audience seats. The cable car ride was not functional at this time .The place was very scenic  with the trees .

From here we went to Another place where people were walking around and playing  games. We spent some time walking in the  Sun .Then we went to Bjelasnica mountain. Here the cable car ride was optional and we took the ride all the way to the peak of the mountain and return. The  ride cost  8 KM/Person. As we climbed up there was snow and too much fog .There are hotels here to rent and stay for  a night.

Next we went to Trebevic Mountain. This was a little far  from the other 2 mountains. We went to Sunnyland here and there were many people at this place unlike the Igman and Bjelasnica  mountains. There was a beautiful view of the city from here. Also there is restaurant  Oxygen .We had our lunch here Vegetarian Pizza and White chocolate mousse. Later we also drove the  coaster ride .It was 5 KM/person.

We also went to another spot on Trebevic, where there was a hotel with children’s play area and also with  a small stream flowing through. Also from the same place we can take the cable car ride to the old town.

We then visited the City Centre Sarajevo mall. We just roamed around and  returned  to the hotel. We had dinner at the same restaurant  and there was mushroom soup  and fish fillets  in the buffet.
